I saw this drink from a local establishment that was just brilliant all the way around. So, I toast to the lovely couple hoping all their dreams come true. Bling-bling....Ching-ching!!

Kate's Ring Martini
(Created by Bar Director, Dennis Grant from Ceia Kitchen+Bar, Newburyport, MA )
Mixology & How-To’s:
* 3.5 ounces of Bombay Sapphire
* 1.5 ounces of St. Germaine Elderflower
* 1 ounce of Blue Curacao
* 1 ounce of Cointreau or Triple Sec
* Shake and Strain
* Rim Martini Glass with Sugar (the "diamonds") and float 1 ounce of Mionetto Sparkling Prosecco.
I used an antique rhinestone hatpin as a stirrer and added a splash of vintage lace just for fun. Cheers!

I too an enthralled with Kate and Williams wedding and can't wait to watch it all!! This would be a really pretty drink to have while I watch. Love the hatpin idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat color to that drink.. don't they both have blue eyes? Well a great something borrowed blue. I love using hat pins and stick pins in drinks... so much prettier that a plastic toothpick. I had a little box of them that went missing when I moved. One day I know I will find it ... along with the rest of the stuff that ended up in the infamous "BOX 13".
ReplyDeleteYour picture of the drink is just gorgeous, Diane!
